The washer sends a burst of water and detergent to shower over fabrics and penetrate stains. Then, steam takes over to deep clean and powerfully extract the toughest stains. This ENERGY STAR® qualified washer saves up to 73 percent water and 77 percent energy compared to conventional washers manufactured before 2004. In the dryer, a small nozzle distributes a fine mist of water throughout the heated dryer as clothes tumble. Then, heated air combines with mist to form steam, which helps relax wrinkles and removes odors. As the industry's first direct water installation method, there's no need to manually add water to the dryer at the start of the every steam cycle.
