Whirlpool Corporation has been honored by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with the ENERGY STAR Partner of The Year Award nine times (1999-2007), including the Sustained Excellence award in 2006 and 2007 for exhibiting outstanding environmental leadership year after year, while sustaining product and marketing excellence. Throughout our partnership, Whirlpool has designed and produced numerous appliance models across six product categories specifically for the ENERGY STAR program, currently manufacturing over 590 ENERGY STAR qualified products under the KitchenAid, Maytag, Amana, Jenn-Air, Whirlpool, and value brand names.
